Collection: Bojagi!

8 products

Bojagi is a form of Korean fiber art. Using various pieces of fabric, the patchwork is created by sewing (either by hand or by machine) these pieces of fabric together. The seams becomes part of the statement.

Originally and still today, these fabrics were scraps salvaged from older cloth. Nothing is wasted creating a new garment or cloth for daily use. Today Bojagi artists work with luxurious fibers - in many cases silk organza. In my Bojagi work, I use fine organzas mainly from Italy and Uzbekistan. I also dye silk organza in some of my Bojagi creations.
